Custom Beam Expanders

Special Optics provides custom beam expanders optimally tailored to suit your exact needs for any UV to IR wavelengths.  Customized beam expanders can be produced to provide lower distortions, different expansion ratios, higher transmissions and damage thresholds and even larger output beam diameters.  Custom systems have been designed to provide output beam diameters of over 400mm as well as input beam diameters that exceed 25mm.  Optimized performance is possible for a variety of applications including laser micromachining along with airborne lasers and laser defense applications.

When ordering a custom beam expander, please specify the operating wavelength, magnification, input aperture, exit aperture, required transmitted wavefront specification, product dimensions and mounting requirements, and any other special requirements related to your specific application.
